1 Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind once any of the following have occurred:
- The installation has been completed
- A special-order product has been purchased on your behalf
- Your booking has been confirmed and materials have been allocated to your job
We encourage you to confirm your requirements before booking. Our team is happy to answer any questions prior to committing.
2 Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, the following applies:

| 24–48 hours before booking | A cancellation fee may apply to cover scheduling and preparation costs |
| Within 24 hours of booking | Filters For You may retain a portion of any deposit or payment received to cover labour preparation and material costs |

3 Faulty Products
If a product supplied by Filters For You is found to be faulty or not fit for purpose, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, which may include repair, replacement, or refund depending on the nature of the fault.
To report a faulty product, please contact us in writing at info@filtersforyou.com.au with:
- Your name and contact details
- Description of the fault or issue
- Photos or supporting evidence where possible
- Your original invoice or proof of purchase
We will assess the claim and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
4 Installation Issues
If you believe there is an issue with the quality of our installation work, please notify us within a reasonable timeframe. All installations are covered by a 12-month workmanship warranty.
The workmanship warranty does not cover issues arising from:
- Failure to replace filter cartridges per the recommended maintenance schedule
- Misuse, tampering, or modifications by others after installation
- External damage or damage caused by events outside our control
- Normal wear and tear over time
Warranty claims are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Where a genuine installation fault is identified, we will rectify it at no charge to you.
5 Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable in all circumstances:
- Opened or used filter cartridges
- Custom-ordered or special-order filtration systems
- Special-order replacement parts or components
- Completed installation services where work has been carried out as agreed
6 Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed via the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times vary depending on your bank or payment provider and are outside our control.
7 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy available under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (including the Australian Consumer Law) that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
You are always entitled to your statutory rights as a consumer, regardless of any other terms set out in this policy.
