This Refund Policy applies to all products and services supplied by Filters For You.
1. Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds for change of mind once:
• An installation has been completed
• Special order stock has been purchased
• A booking has been confirmed and materials allocated
If you wish to cancel a booking prior to installation, please contact us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility will depend on whether materials have been ordered and costs incurred.
2. Cancellation Policy
If you cancel:
More than 48 hours before your scheduled installation
A refund may be provided minus any non recoverable material or processing costs.
Within 24 to 48 hours of your scheduled installation
A cancellation fee may apply.
Within 24 hours of your scheduled installation
Filters For You reserves the right to retain a portion of payment to cover labour scheduling and material allocation costs.
3. Faulty or Defective Products
If a product supplied by Filters For You is faulty, defective, or does not meet Australian Consumer Law guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy.
Depending on the issue, this may include:
• Repair
• Replacement
• Refund
All claims must be reported in writing to info@filtersforyou.com.au with supporting details and photos where applicable.
We may inspect the product before determining the appropriate remedy.
4. Installation Issues
If you believe there is an issue with workmanship, you must notify us within a reasonable timeframe.
Installation workmanship is covered by a 12 month warranty from the date of installation.
This does not cover:
• Failure to maintain or replace filters as recommended
• Misuse or modification of the system
• Damage caused by external plumbing or water supply issues
• Normal wear and tear
5. Non Refundable Items
The following are non refundable:
• Opened or used filter cartridges
• Custom ordered systems
• Special order parts
• Services already completed
6. Processing of Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method where possible.
Processing times may vary depending on payment provider.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a major failure occurs, you are entitled to a replacement or refund and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
