This filter is designed as a balanced post reverse osmosis solution, sitting between straight reverse osmosis water and high alkaline water.

It is engineered to raise acidic reverse osmosis water to a neutral or weak alkaline pH, making it ideal for users who want mineralised water without moving into the high alkaline range.

The cartridge uses a 2 in 1 blend of coconut shell granular activated carbon and alkaline mineral media, allowing it to both improve taste and reintroduce minerals into mineral depleted water. This produces a steady and controlled pH adjustment rather than a rapid increase.

The alkaline media is predominantly calcium, with trace amounts of magnesium and potassium, providing a slow and stable pH shift that is well suited to the low flow rates of reverse osmosis systems.

This filter is intended for use only where incoming water is acidic, such as reverse osmosis water or pure rainwater. Mains water typically has a pH above 7.0 and will not allow this cartridge to operate at its intended performance level.

The cartridge is supplied in a large high capacity inline format and includes 1/4” inbuilt push fit connectors for direct installation. It is NSF ANSI 42 compliant and WaterMark certified to AS 3497.
