Pure Advanced

5 Stage Quick Change Akaline Reverse Osmosis Filtration System

Clean, Advanced Water

The Pure Advanced system is designed for households wanting strong reverse osmosis performance with simple, quick change maintenance.

At Filters For You, we install advanced filtration systems supplied by Filter Systems Australia (FSA), combining WaterMark certified hardware with modern engineering standards and professionally installed, compliant systems built for Australian homes.

Installed neatly under your sink, Pure Advanced produces clean, alkaline balanced drinking water through a dedicated filter tap, ideal for everyday drinking and cooking.

Important: Pure Advanced requires a minimum inlet pressure of 500 kPa to operate correctly and acheive optimal performance. If your home has lower water pressure, a booster pump system such as Pure Luxe may be more suitable.

What you’re getting

• Under-sink 5 stage alkaline reverse osmosis filtration system

Suitability Check

Is the existing plumbing accessible, fitted with working isolation valves, and in good condition, free from leaks, corrosion, seized fittings, damage, or limited access?
Is there sufficient space under the sink, and can the area be cleared to install a filter system?
Is this a rental property?

Product Information

What’s included in the Pure Advanced filtration system

Pure Advanced is a compact 5 stage quick change alkaline reverse osmosis system supplied by Filter Systems Australia.

It combines sediment and carbon pre filtration, reverse osmosis purification, and a dual finishing cartridge for taste and pH buffering.

Stage 1 – Sediment Filtration (1 micron)

The first stage uses a 1 micron sediment cartridge made from melt-blown polypropylene.

It captures fine particles such as dirt, rust, and silt commonly found in mains water, protecting the internal filters and reverse osmosis membrane from physical damage.

Stage 2 – Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)

This stage reduces chlorine, taste, odour, and organic contaminants while maintaining strong water flow.

This stage helps reduce chlorine, taste, odour, and organic compounds, while helps protecting the membrane from chemical degradation and supports long term system performance.

Regular replacement of this filter is essential to maintaining system efficiency and extending membrane life.

Stage 3 – Coconut Carbon Block (5 micron)

A high grade coconut carbon block provides deeper contaminant reduction prior to reverse osmosis.

This stage increases contact time and removes remaining chemical residues before the membrane.

Stage 4 – Reverse Osmosis Membrane (0.0001 micron)

The reverse osmosis membrane is the core purification stage, filtering down to 0.0001 micron to significantly reduce dissolved solids, metals, and a broad range of contaminants under laboratory test conditions.

Because reverse osmosis requires adequate pressure to perform efficiently, maintaining the recommended inlet pressure helps ensure optimal contaminant rejection.

Typical membrane lifespan is approximately 3–5 years depending on water quality and maintenance.

Stage 5 – Carbon Polishing & Calcium Alkalising

The final stage uses premium activated coconut carbon for taste refinement, followed by calcium alkalising media to buffer the final pH to a balanced 7–8 range.

The result is clean, smooth, lightly mineral balanced drinking water with a refined finish.

Key system features

• 5 stage quick change alkaline reverse osmosis filtration
• Triple pre filtration protection for membrane longevity
• 0.0001 micron membrane purification
• Dual finishing cartridge for taste polishing and pH buffering (pH 7–8 typical)
• WaterMark certified system and components
• Components compliant to NSF/ANSI 42 for chlorine and taste/odour reduction
• Requires minimum 500 kPa inlet pressure

Filter lifespan & maintenance

Regular maintenance protects performance and extends the life of the RO membrane.

Typical replacement guide:

• Stage 1 sediment: every 6 months

• Stage 2 GAC: every 6 months

• Stage 3 carbon block: every 12 months

• Stage 4 RO membrane: approx. 3 to 5 years (guided by monitor/TDS output)

• Stage 5 finishing cartridge: every 12 months

Quick change design makes replacements simple with no plumbing disconnections — twist off, click on.

Replacement filters are readily available and designed specifically for this system.

System performance & reliability

Pure Advanced combines staged pre filtration with ultra fine reverse osmosis purification to help maintain consistent output over time.

The system is designed to:

• Deliver consistently high quality drinking water
• Improve taste and odour through multi stage carbon filtration
• Reduce total dissolved solids under tested conditions
• Support long term reliability when installed within pressure specifications

Actual results will vary depending on incoming water quality and operating conditions.

Reverse osmosis tanks & water flow

Reverse osmosis systems use a pressurised storage tank to store filtered water.

Water flow is strongest when the tank is full and gradually reduces as the tank empties. This is a normal characteristic of all pressurised RO systems and ensures consistent delivery throughout the day.

Suitable for multiple applications

The Pure Advanced system is suitable for:

• Residential homes
• Apartments
• Offices
• Light commercial applications

Important usage notice!

This filtration system is designed to improve drinking water quality but does not disinfect water or remove microorganisms.

It must not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without appropriate disinfection before or after the system.

WaterMark certification & compliant installation

The Pure Advanced (FSA) reverse osmosis system is WaterMark certified to Australian Standard AS 3497:2021 under Certificate Number 23247.

WaterMark certification is the level of compliance legally required in Australia for a licensed plumber to install a water filtration system. This ensures the system meets Australian plumbing codes, safety requirements, and performance standards.

Filters For You installs WaterMark certified FSA filtration systems under licensed plumbers (LIC : 461511C), providing confidence that every installation is compliant, insurable, and suitable for Australian mains and town water supplies.

This system must be installed by a licensed plumber, in accordance with Australian plumbing regulations.
