Product Information

What’s included in the Pure Compact filtration system

The Pure Compact system uses a streamlined 3 stage alkaline reverse osmosis process designed for efficiency, space saving installation, and high daily output.

It combines carbon pre filtration, high performance reverse osmosis, and inline alkaline mineral balancing in a compact quick connect format.

Stage 1 – Coconut Shell Activated Carbon Filtration

The first stage uses a high quality inline coconut shell activated carbon filter.

This stage reduces chlorine, taste, odour, and organic compounds commonly found in mains water, while protecting the reverse osmosis membrane from chemical degradation.

Stage 2 – Reverse Osmosis Membrane (0.0001 micron | 100 GPD)

The reverse osmosis membrane is the core purification stage of the system.

Filtering down to 0.0001 micron, it significantly reduces fluoride, heavy metals, dissolved salts, pesticides, VOCs, and up to 98% of total dissolved solids under laboratory test conditions.

With a high output capacity of up to 380 litres per day, this membrane produces more purified water daily than many standard residential RO systems.

Regular replacement of this filter is essential to maintaining system efficiency and extending membrane life.

Stage 3 – Inline GAC + Alkaline Mineral Remineralisation (2-in-1)

The final stage combines granular activated carbon polishing with alkaline mineral media

.

This stage enhances taste while reintroducing minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and potassium to buffer the final pH and improve overall drinking experience.

The result is clean, smooth, lightly mineral balanced water with improved taste and hydration feel.

Key system features

• Compact 3 stage alkaline reverse osmosis filtration
• High output 380L/day (100 GPD) membrane
• Inline quick connect filters – no bulky housings
• Space saving design ideal for apartments & tight cabinetry
• Removes fluoride and dissolved contaminants under tested conditions
• Built in alkaline remineralisation
• WaterMark certified system components
• Australian assembled using compliant materials

Filter lifespan & maintenance

Regular filter maintenance is essential to protect system performance and extend component lifespan.

Typical replacement guide:

• Stage 1 Carbon pre-filter: every 6 months

• Stage 2 RO membrane: approx. 1–4 years depending on water quality

• Stage 3 Alkaline mineral filter: every 12 months

Inline quick connect design allows for clean, simple filter changes without removing large housings.

Average annual filter maintenance cost is low — typically under $0.50 per day.

Replacement filters are readily available and designed specifically for this system.

System performance & reliability

By combining compact inline filtration with high-output membrane technology, the Pure Compact system helps:

• Deliver consistently high quality drinking water
• Reduce total dissolved solids under tested conditions
• Improve taste, clarity, and odour
• Provide higher daily production than many standard RO systems

Reverse osmosis tanks & water flow

Reverse osmosis systems use a pressurised storage tank to store filtered water.

Water flow is strongest when the tank is full and gradually reduces as the tank empties. This is a normal characteristic of all pressurised RO systems and ensures consistent delivery throughout the day.

Suitable for multiple applications

The Pure Compact system is suitable for:

• Residential homes
• Apartments
• Offices
• Small kitchens with limited cabinet space

Important usage notice!

This filtration system is designed to improve drinking water quality but does not disinfect water or remove microorganisms.

It must not be used with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without appropriate disinfection before or after the system.

WaterMark certification & compliant installation

The Pure Compact (FSA) reverse osmosis system is WaterMark certified to Australian Standard AS 3497:2021 under Certificate Number 23247.

WaterMark certification is the level of compliance legally required in Australia for a licensed plumber to install a water filtration system. This ensures the system meets Australian plumbing codes, safety requirements, and performance standards.

Filters For You installs WaterMark certified FSA filtration systems under licensed plumbers (LIC : 461511C), providing confidence that every installation is compliant, insurable, and suitable for Australian mains and town water supplies.

This system must be installed by a licensed plumber, in accordance with Australian plumbing regulations.
