Product Information

What’s included in the Pure Essential filtration system

The Pure Essential system uses a 2 stage undersink filtration process designed to improve water taste, clarity, and overall quality on both mains and rainwater supplies.

The system combines sediment filtration to remove physical particles with high-performance coconut carbon filtration to reduce chlorine, odours, and chemical residues — delivering clean, pleasant-tasting water straight from the tap.

Stage 1 – Gradient sediment filtration (5 micron)

The first stage uses a 5 micron gradient polyspun sediment filter with a multi-layer depth structure.

This design captures larger particles such as rust, dirt, silt, and scale in the outer layers, while finer sediment is trapped deeper within the filter. This improves filter life and helps protect the carbon stage that follows.

This stage is suitable for both mains and tank water supplies.

Stage 2 – Coconut carbon block filtration (1 micron)

The second stage is a 1 micron activated coconut carbon block filter, manufactured using 100% coconut shell carbon.

This filter is designed to reduce chlorine, unpleasant tastes and odours, and a wide range of chemical residues, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Tested in accordance with NSF/ANSI 53 for VOC reduction, this stage provides effective chemical filtration while maintaining strong water flow and low pressure drop.
